Schillerschule

Project description

The "Schillerschule" was extended for future use as an all-day school by four classrooms with adjoining group rooms, a cafteria with distribution kitchen and a newly organized administration. The extension designed by PLAN FORWARD GmbH presents itself as an independent building and connects to the existing building on three floors. 

All floors are accessible barrier-free via a newly installed elevator. The entrance area, auditorium and cafeteria are located on the ground floor with a room layout allowing for flexible use. The cafeteria meets the requirements of the „Versammlungsstättenverordnung“. Distribution and scullery areas including ancillary rooms as well as storage and technical rooms are directly connected to the cafeteria.
