Project description
The "Prager Spitze" is a six-story office and commercial building in Dresden's city center. Its name is derived from its location on the shopping avenue Prager Straße and its pointed ground plan.
With its 130-meter-long glass façade, the new building under execution planning by WOLFF GRUPPE marks the beginning of the shopping street that leads from the main train station to the old town. Its transparent front and central location make it an ideal site for retail and office use. The modern offices with their high-quality furnishings meet the requirements of an innovative building.
The upper floors are accessed via a passage in the rear part of the building, an open passage in the front part and a „Straßenbahn“ stop integrated as an arcade on the rear side. This also fulfills important urban planning functions. A lighting concept integrated into the building creates an atmospheric image of Prager Spitze in the evening.
WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH merges PLAN FORWARD GmbH, W+P Gesellschaft für Projektrealisierung mbH, and ARIQQA GmbH into a single legal entity under its umbrella, in accordance with Sections 2 and 20 of the German Transformation Act (Umwandlungsgesetz – UmwG). The business activities of the previously independent companies are fully continued within WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH under the business divisions PLANNING, MANAGING and CONSULTING.
