Project description
The State Construction Management of the city of Osnabrück commissioned WOLFF GRUPPE with the design and the work phases 2 to 8 of HAOI for a new lecture hall and seminar building for the University of Vechta.
The lecture hall and seminar level is vertically accessed through a central core with stairs and elevator. This ensures barrier-free use of the facility. Also in accordance with its functional structure, all ground-floor parts without significant window portions are clad in a dark façade.
The east-facing seminar rooms are naturally ventilated and protected from overheating by external venetian blinds. Ventilation flaps are integrated into the façade elements to cool the building at night.
WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH merges PLAN FORWARD GmbH, W+P Gesellschaft für Projektrealisierung mbH, and ARIQQA GmbH into a single legal entity under its umbrella, in accordance with Sections 2 and 20 of the German Transformation Act (Umwandlungsgesetz – UmwG). The business activities of the previously independent companies are fully continued within WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH under the business divisions PLANNING, MANAGING and CONSULTING.
