New Construction multifunctional wooden houses as REFUGEE ACCOMMODATIONS IN muelheim an der Ruhr
On the site of the former fairground of the city of Muelheim an der Ruhr, 17 wooden houses with living quarters and sanitary facilities for up to 600 people as well as an administration area were built in a very short time. The project was planned and realized by the team of WOLFF GRUPPE.
Compared with living containers or large tents, the construction with wood offers substantially better insulating characteristics regarding warmth and sound and thus increases the living quality and energy efficiency. Thanks to their flexible construction, the solid wooden houses can be used in a variety of ways and also guarantee the shortest possible production times.
In close coordination with the municipal client and the operators, DRK and "Die Johanniter", WOLFF GRUPPE has thus implemented a pioneering concept.
WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH merges PLAN FORWARD GmbH, W+P Gesellschaft für Projektrealisierung mbH, and ARIQQA GmbH into a single legal entity under its umbrella, in accordance with Sections 2 and 20 of the German Transformation Act (Umwandlungsgesetz – UmwG). The business activities of the previously independent companies are fully continued within WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH under the business divisions PLANNING, MANAGING and CONSULTING.
