Project description

In Stuttgart's Klingenstrasse, eleven three-story apartment buildings with a total of 64 residential units, originally built in 1929/1930, were completely modernized and restructured. The modernization project was carried out in two sections.

The buildings are directly adjacent to each other and form a bending structure along Klingenstrasse. Each of the eleven buildings has a depth of approximately eleven meters.

The shell of the residential buildings remained in place. Still demolition, backfilling, earthwork and structural work had to be carried out in advance as part of the modernization. In addition, some of the units were combined.

This resulted in 55 apartments spread over three full stories. The balconies on the southwest side (towards Klingenstrasse) were removed in the course of the modernization and replaced by new balconies on the northeast side of the building.

WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH merges PLAN FORWARD GmbH, W+P Gesellschaft für Projektrealisierung mbH, and ARIQQA GmbH into a single legal entity under its umbrella, in accordance with Sections 2 and 20 of the German Transformation Act (Umwandlungsgesetz – UmwG). The business activities of the previously independent companies are fully continued within WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH under the business divisions PLANNING, MANAGING and CONSULTING.
