Project description

The “Studierendenwerk Tübingen-Hohenheim” commissioned WOLFF GRUPPE with the architectural design for the interior renovation of the student housing buildings in Schwerzstrasse 2 and 3. In addition, the long-distance pipelines as well as the heating system in the neighboring building Schwerzstrasse 1 were renewed.

The existing buildings in the Hohenheim district of Stuttgart were built in the early 1970s. The facade was renewed in 2007.

The refurbishment was carried out in two construction phases. The first section of the building was renovated at the beginning of the summer semester 2022. The other section remained rented until the renovation of the first section was completed.

As soon as the first construction phase was completed, the students moved into the completed areas so that the second section could be renovated. The second construction phase was completed in time to allow for release of the units at the start of the 2023 winter semester.
