Project description
Due to the large scale of the construction work, it was first necessary to draw up a landscape conservation plan. The main focus was on minimizing the sealing of the site by buildings and outdoor facilities. WOLFF GEUPPE achieved an extensive interlocking of the extensive new plantings with the existing biotope-like area.
The logistics center consists of 2 high-bay warehouses with an overall height of 40 m each, administration, goods handling and commissioning buildings. For fire protection reasons, all load-bearing parts are made of reinforced concrete.
In accordance with the functional requirements, the building envelope consists of horizontally and vertically structured aluminum and glass structures throughout. A total of 38,000 m of drilled piles were installed for the building's foundation.
WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH merges PLAN FORWARD GmbH, W+P Gesellschaft für Projektrealisierung mbH, and ARIQQA GmbH into a single legal entity under its umbrella, in accordance with Sections 2 and 20 of the German Transformation Act (Umwandlungsgesetz – UmwG). The business activities of the previously independent companies are fully continued within WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH under the business divisions PLANNING, MANAGING and CONSULTING.
