Project description
The town of Neukirchen-Vluyn has commissioned WOLFF GRUPPE with the planning, implementation and project management for the conversion, extension and refurbishment of Niederberg comprehensive school.
Due to the expansion from 4 to 5 classes and the phasing out of the Hauptschule and Realschule, the Niederberg comprehensive school in Neukirchen-Vluyn has a need for additional space. In order to meet this demand, building sections B, C and G are being converted and modernized, the technical equipment in E and F will be overhauled. In addition, an extension (J) is being added to building G. The modernization takes into account both the specific usage requirements and energy-related refurbishment measures.
Construction activities will take place in two phases, the first one beginning in the end of 2023. In the first phase, the south wing of building G with the entrance area, the north wing of building C as well as the entire wing B will be refurbished. Meanwhile, the other wings of the building will be used with containers in the schoolyard and temporary classes. In the second phase, the north wing of building G with the educational center and the south wing of building C will be renovated.
Completion of the entire project is planned for summer 2025.
WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH merges PLAN FORWARD GmbH, W+P Gesellschaft für Projektrealisierung mbH, and ARIQQA GmbH into a single legal entity under its umbrella, in accordance with Sections 2 and 20 of the German Transformation Act (Umwandlungsgesetz – UmwG). The business activities of the previously independent companies are fully continued within WOLFF GRUPPE GmbH under the business divisions PLANNING, MANAGING and CONSULTING.
